Description
Graduating with my Bachelor's of Science degree was a milestone that I had envisioned for years. I had kept a ceremonious countdown in my dorm since my freshman year, and whenever studying got difficult, I looked at that for a renewed source of inspiration. I always pictured walking across the stage with my group of college friends, throwing our caps in the air, and celebrating in style. Instead, here I am on May 9, 2020, pictured with my ceremonious countdown, finally at day 0, except I was sitting on the couch at home. It was a bittersweet moment to realize that I would never attend my own college graduation in person and say goodbye to numerous friends, yet had achieved a lifelong goal and grew tremendously as a result of my experiences. I am so thankful for UT with its effort to try and make this a memorable journey.
